ECOC Workshop 2013

The workshop will review the roadmap for the generic photonic foundry approach and it will address the business opportunities that are created by the large reduction of the entry costs for application of Photonic ICs in novel or improved products.

The workshop is organized by the integration technology platforms ePIXfab and JePPIX, it is the 5th event of the annual European Photonic Integration Forum.

JePPIX Course

Design Kit training to support MPW Oclaro and FhG/HHI

A MultiProjectWafer (MPW) workshop/training on semicommercial PIC technology InP will be held on 25-27 July 2011 at PhoeniX Software, Enschede, The Netherlands.

This 3-day workshop/training covers technology, devices, design, use examples, supply chain and MPW operations at PARADIGM's foundry partners Oclaro and FhG/HHI. The workshop is aimed at both people new to InP as well as at more experienced designers wishing to increase their design skills. The programme is available here.

The course is set up and organized by PARADIGM. The MPW run is also accessible for external parties who have signed Paradigm and/or EuroPIC NDA. Packaging's services are offered by CIP (The Centre for Integrated Photonics - UK).

3rd European Photonic Integration Forum

On Tuesday 21st June the 3rd European Photonic Integration Forum will be organized in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. It is the aim of the Integration Forum to bring providers and users of Photonic ICs together and inform them about which technologies are required and will become available in the coming years. This year we will focus on prospects for Photonic Integration in different application fields and on the emergence and progress of Generic Photonic Foundry initiatives.
